Australian technology services company DiUS Computing recognised as top supplier by global healthcare leader

Melbourne — Australian-based technology services company DiUS Computing is proud to announce it has won the Most Valuable Supplier Innovation Award from ResMed, a global leader in the development, manufacturing and marketing of medical products for the diagnosis, treatment and management of respiratory disorders.

DiUS is a technology services firm that helps clients innovate and grow, employing more than a hundred people over its Melbourne and Sydney offices.

The inaugural award recognises DiUS’s work in developing Easy Care Online (ECO) – a new cloud-based compliance management software solution enabling users to securely access sleep apnoea patients’ usage and efficacy data online.

The award was announced at the annual ResMed Supplier Awards at a ceremony in Sydney on Wednesday September 12.  Awards were presented in multiple categories, with winners chosen from ResMed’s suppliers worldwide.

The Most Valuable Supplier Innovation award goes to a supplier technology, product, process or service innovation that has had a significant impact on ResMed’s business contributing to cost savings, revenue increase and/or market share gains.

With over 3000 employees across the globe, ResMed is the largest corporation focused exclusively on developing innovative products for improving the quality of sleep.

ResMed Vice President Product Development, Healthcare Informatics, Mark Buckley, congratulated the DiUS team for working with ResMed to bring a great product to market.

“The award acknowledges DiUS for the contribution made to the development and market success of the ECO program.

“Further evidence of DiUS’s impact can be seen throughout the ResMed Innovation Centre through the various project teams, who are adopting Agile and Lean approaches as they kick-off new programs,” he said.

DiUS Principal and Cofounder Clency Coutet said the award would go down as a significant milestone in DiUS’s eight-year history.

“We are absolutely thrilled to have accepted the Most Valuable Supplier Innovation award from ResMed,” he said.

“This award belongs to the entire DiUS-ResMed team, as ResMed’s willingness to embrace and support DiUS’s approach was a key factor in delivering a quality product that has made an enormous difference to the ResMed business,” Mr Coutet said.

“It is global recognition of DiUS’s innovative approach and hard work from a global market leader such as ResMed that deals with many partners and suppliers worldwide,” he said.
