DiUS start-up Percepscion a featured exhibitor at CES 2014

DiUS’s Smart Energy start-up Percepscion continues to make its mark internationally, this time as a featured exhibitor at the prestigious International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas this January. Percepscion has been invited to showcase its portfolio of world-leading Smart Energy products as a part of the ZigBee pavillion.

Percepscion will also be launching LiveVu at CES, a real-time energy gateway that will for the first time allow Smart Energy providers to build the next generation of products for the Connected Home using real-time energy consumption information, accessed directly from the household’s Smart Meter.

LiveVu joins Percepscion’s other products, PowerVu, Australia’s best selling home energy monitor, and ChargeIQ, the world’s first ZigBee-certified EV charger.

Percepscion has been attracting international attention for its world-first use of a Smart Grid to deliver demand management of electric vehicle, demonstrated as a part of the Victorian Government Electric Vehicle Trial. This project has been presented to international conferences including Microgrid Forum in Singapore, EVS27 in Barcelona, and the Bloomberg New Energy Finance Smart Energy Leadership Forum. Building on this, Percepscion will be reporting the latest insights into EV charging demand management at the upcoming Smart Energy Summit in Austin, Texas.

Percepscion’s growing awareness in the U.S. is timely, the latest research from Park Associates finding that nearly 40% of U.S. broadband households are interested in purchasing at least one Internet-connected home energy management product.

Having recently signed an agreement with the Silicon Valley based Global Network Resources to distribute its suite of Smart Energy products in North America, Percepscion is well positioned to take advantage of its growing awareness in the U.S. and any opportunities presented by CES and Smart Energy Summit.
